I finished my Lily doll this morning.  She’s not perfect but I love her anyway.

I also finally got a picture of my octopus:

I just finished my Matinee Swing Jacket.  I will get pictures of it tomorrow.

Today we had a little excitement, but it wasn’t the kind I wanted. There was a vegetation fire less than a mile from us Fortunately our wonderful firefighters put it out quickly. It could have been so much worse. You can read about it here: Crestline Fire

I also started a new amigurumi project. I will post a picture tomorrow. I love to do amigurumi when I am really sick of my current project. That way I can have have a quick gratification project and then go back to my big project refreshed.

I had planned to take pictures of all my projects today but my plans were interrupted.  I did, however, get a couple of pictures of Tyler on Pastor Mike’s scooter.

I am enjoying this holiday weekend.  I cleaned the house on Friday so I’ve been crocheting guilt free.  Currently on the hook I have a shawl, a sweater, and a pair of socks.  Tomorrow I will get some pictures.

The weather turned cool up here today.  Right now I’m wearing my big red and black shawl and enjoying the warmth.

I have a definite case of crochet startitis.  I started a sweater last night and a shawl on Saturday.  I want to start some socks and another top.  Hmmmmm, it looks like I’ll be busy for a while.

Today, I emptied the hot tub and refilled it.  I did crochet some but it was  on a design that I’m going to submit for publication so no pictures :)  I also dyed a skein of sock yarn a beautiful red.  I’ll post a picture tomorrow.

Today was another busy day.  Tyler’s dentist and cardiologist appointments went well.  Have a great weekend!

Today was another busy day. My son had a doctors appointment and we went school shopping. I also managed to slip by The Yarn Deli to get some new knitting needles.

Now, for the finished product:

I dyed it yesterday.  The colors are very deep and beautiful.  So what does that mean???

Mommy’s Marketplace is going to start offering hand dyed sock yarn and fiber.  I should have some up in the next week.

Tomorrow is going to be busy also.  My son has a dentist appointment and an appointment with the pediatric cardiologist.  I’m expecting his cardiology appointment to be uneventful.  The reason he is going is he had open heart surgery as a baby.  Fortunately, they were able to fix his problems and his annual checkups are just to make sure he’s doing well.
